Maple Grove, Minnesota was named the #2 best place to live in America according to a 2014 article by Money Magazine. Since then, the bustling suburb has only added more exciting activities for you to enjoy.

To help you choose from the many options, we’ve compiled some top spots for communities around Minnesota. The second stop on our Minnesota tour is one of our favorites-- Maple Grove. 

Arbor Lakes

Is shopping more your scene? Look no further than your one stop shopping spot, Arbor Lakes.

Whether you're looking for the latest fashions, incredible home furnishings or the perfect gift, you'll find The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes a truly unique experience. It's a pleasure just being there. Stroll, shop, dine and relax along paths of rich landscaping.

 

Brick and Bourbon

Are you more of a foodie? At Brick & Bourbon they pair their amazing food with a one of a kind craft cocktail bar that focuses on fresh, simple ingredients, which complements their amazing portfolio of spirits.

Aside from their vintage bourbon and wicked craft cocktails (including a clear Bloody Mary!), their unique menu is second to none. The upbeat vibe and rustic decor adds to the experience. A definite win to beat those midweek blues.

 

Rush Creek Golf Club

If golf is your game, a round of 18 at Rush Creek Golf Club has to be at the top of your list of things to do in Maple Grove. A public course with a private feel, Rush Creek features challenging greens, spectacular views and gorgeous sunsets. Be sure to grab a bite at the delicious Highlander Restaurant.

Central Park of Maple Grove

Experience the fun of Central Park, a beautiful urban park in one of the most booming neighborhoods of Maple Grove.

Central Park features an LED illuminated splash pad, park building and gardens that can host weddings, a sweeping central lawn, dedicated pickleball courts, and an awesome playground. In the wintertime, Central Park boasts the state’s first ice skating trail. Skating is free and skate rental is available from child size 8 to adult size 13 for $6. Skate sharpening is also available for $4.

Omni Brewing Company

For the adults, grab a beverage at Omni Brewing Company.

According to the founders of Omni, “We got tired of having to drive into the city to get a good beer, so we wanted something nearby - in the Northwest suburbs - a place with a neighborhood feel where we would be proud to go.  We wanted to bring craft beer to the suburbs.”

Their dream is a reality – open taproom, awesome bar, and game room -- all nestled next to the sparkling shiny tanks of their new 15-barrel brewing system.
